How Updates work can be found here. If you're still not sure what to do, download the main installation file and install over the top of your current installation. The main install always contains the latest udpates.
Update 7 - 2.2.7 (20010508)

In order to apply Update 7, your current version must be: 2.2.6 (20001205). Information on how to check your current version can be found here. If you have an earlier version, Download the installation file.
If your download software is capable of restarting, choose the FTP Mirror link. If your download software isn't capable of restarting aborted downloads, then get Net Vampire.

Unzip update7.zip into a temporary directory, and then run the program "update7.exe". Follow the on screen instructions.
Update 6 - 2.2.6 (20001205)

Update 5 fixes the access violation bug when previewing .gif images in the open dialog.
